Associate Director, Commercial IT

Technology plays a pivotal role in this, and this exciting opportunity leads the GB Business Process and Technology team of business partners in identifying and driving this ambition into the Commercial organisation in GB.

GB is one of 6 business units across CCEP, with up to 30+ technology projects  each year.

What does the Commercial Business Partner do:

The next few years sees GB at a crossroads when it comes to driving capability through technology. For our Commercial teams, we are expanding our sales execution tools, driving the exciting journey to significantly advance our capabilities in the areas of key accounts and RGM, do so while harmonising and securing strong and stable processes as well as advancing the insights we can achieve through analytics.

You will be accountable for driving this suite of programs, and more, through technology, process and data into the Commercial organisation within GB.

You will do this by building strong collaborative relationships with the Commercial organisation as well as across BPT to align the strategic direction, facilitate the roadmap and journey that will meet the needs and priorities as well as ensuring the execution of the plan. You will represent GB Commercial in CCEP wide discussions and ensure that you can influence the agenda to meet the local needs.

We want this role to challenge the status quo, and drive positive change through existing and new technologies, providing advice and guidance along the way. We need to leverage all the opportunities that we have to take maximum advantage of what is on offer in support of growing our GB business. You will become a valued partner to your GB Commercial stakeholders as the primary face of the BPT organisation.


  • Build long lasting relationships across the Commercial organisation and within BPT
  • Align strategic direction and priorities within the Commercial organisation
  • Define the roadmap for the Commercial teams
  • Consult and advise on Commercial BPT related services, capabilities and innovations
  • Take leadership and be accountable for the value delivery of BPT services into GB Commercial team
  • Learn from and collaborate with other Business Units and share best practices to leverage synergies
  • Prepare business analysis and take decisions on business cases together with Commercial teams
  • Drive change through the Commercial organisation in adopting of new ways of working
  • Champion existing solutions to drive maximum value from them
  • Lead and inspire your team to deliver

It would be useful to have experience in some of the following:

  • Relationship building through trust
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Collaborating across multiple senior stakeholder’s
  • Experience of working in a Commercial function
  • Some high level overview of the technologies used within a Commercial function
  • Participating in the execution of projects. Technology projects a bonus.
  • Influencing and problem solving skills
  • Leading the charge for change
